It’s New, It’s Original, and You can ONLY see it here!

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

It’s Polls with Image Ads!

I got an email last night, that I thought was hilarious for many reasons.

1. This guy keeps trying to bash people for no reason, claiming people steal from him…irony.
2. Then he goes and talks about how he came up with something so original, that everybody will copy it, repackage it, and resell it as their own…but HE was the original.

Let’s get something straight. EVEN Zac Johnson knew about this method over a year ago.

Read it here: Building Polls and using Image Ads.

Some people should just stop before they dig a deeper hole. I knew about Polls back in 2006, and I knew about running Image ads about that time, too.

For this guy to go around claiming he invented something new, or even improved on something that he copied from someone else, is just sad, and I feel bad for those who he seems to be fooling.

Trust me, nobody is stealing this information, because nobody in their right mind wants to sell this information to people.

Give it a rest already, please, and just fix your site. Make it better, not worse.

No Longer at PPC-Coach

Category: My Life | 25 Comments

I don’t want to turn this into drama, but I want to make sure people know why I’m no longer there. Will has a tendency to bash people for all the wrong reasons…so, call this preemptive.

About a year ago, I came up with the idea to create my own Internet Marketing Training site…a site that would Rival Wealthy Affiliate, a site that I respected a lot, and still do. They’re very professional, but there’s a few things that they lacked, and I didn’t see anything changing, so I decided to create something of my own.

I purchased a domain called Affiliit.com back in November. A domain I knew I could use for that specific project. Perfect for what I needed…

I started chatting with Chris (newageads) from PPC Coach, and I explained my vision for the project. Not once did it have ANYTHING to do with PPC-Coach…

As a matter of fact, we never wanted it to rival that site, as it was a small niche site, with little training, and nothing good for newbies (being honest). Not to mention, once you get past month 1, there’s nothing left…again, being honest. Bashing? No…do a search, it’s the same valid complaint everyone has.

I used to respect Will. I thought he was a good guy, until I noticed all of his public bashing on people that gave their honest feedback about his site. I saw it on Wickedfire, WarriorForum, and even his own site, just to name a few.

Look, I can understand getting upset about people giving their honest opinion, but as a Business owner, you need to suck it up and walk away with that criticism in mind – so that you can fix those issues. It’s what Business is all about…Customer Satisfaction, NOT self-satisfaction or ego stroking.

Apparently (from the comments he makes anytime someone creates a new product), if you build any type of website, you stole from Will.

He’s the same guy who accused Ruck of stealing his Poll program to create poll factory (don’t ask, I don’t get it either!), Wes of stealing his tracking script and creating prosper202, and several other people…I don’t even want to go any further, but I want people to know the truth of how this guy attacks people and accuses them of stealing from him. It’s complete nonsense.

On top of that, this guy purchased PPCFormula and then turns around and creates PPC-Coach…then he buys PPVFormula, and turns around and starts ppvcoach.com, both of which caused Gauher Chaudry to become very upset, as you could imagine.

Do a search on ppc-coach.com for Gauher Chaudry or PPVformula.com, or ppcformula.com on his site, and you’ll see they’re filtered out like bad words…

I left PPC Coach a long time ago because I saw how Will was ignoring his customers. They asked for more training, and new updates…what does he give them? Affiliate Links to other products, Webinars on other people’s products, and, on top of that, rather than updating his methods, he goes back in time and hits them with minisites…and blackhat methods using other people’s products. I never understood these moves, and it’s why I stopped showing up.

I tried my best to help out the site, and I never once poached any members from his site, as he so boldly claims, while he does this at DigitalPoint, WickedFire and WarriorForum, along with other sites on a daily basis. Let’s be honest with ourselves, shall we, Will?

I never poached ANY members from his site… I gave a few members I know from there a free account, because they hit me up on AIM on many occasions. This is not poaching, this is called Networking. Meeting new people. Maybe if there was more training available, your UNPAID MODERATORS wouldn’t have to get bothered on AIM all the time, right? ;-)

He claims we stole his tools? Last time I checked, people have been using Campaign Builders, scrapers, etc. for a long, long time now, and we don’t try to sell our Tools for our membership, they’re simply there to help out our members. I don’t understand why he thinks just because he HAS these things, that other people don’t realize he took those ideas from them, too?

Will banned me today, all because he fears competition…

This is bad Business, like usual from this guy. I’ve had people warn me about the guy for a long time, but I ignored it.

The lies keep coming, and the complete disrespect of his members will always continue.

Let’s keep it real, Will…

Lies, Broken promises, being a cheapskate, and over-promising and under-delivering is not what makes a good site. These are why your customers are leaving, and this is why your mods are not showing up anymore.

What happened to keeping your moderators (the people who RUN YOUR SITE FOR YOU) paid? Nobody ever got paid, but it was stated that they would be… I couldn’t care less about the few bucks you might have ponied up, but it was the fact that you lied about it.

What ever happened to all of your tools that you promised people, and never delivered? The Keyword Spy Tool, Minisite generator, etc, etc… the list continues to grow.

I’ll leave it at that… these are the reasons I left ppc coach. These are the reasons I’d warn everybody not to stay on past month 1, and never believe a word the guy says.

I wanted to make sure I get my say, rather than to let this guy ban me from his forums and publicly lie and bash my partner and I.

It’s coming, as always.

Remember kids: You shouldn’t make false accusations about someone who knew your Business better than you. The moderators are the ones who run that site. It’s a shame he’d lie about things, all because he fears Affiliit.com …

Take your ball and go home now. We’re done here.

Affiliit.com – Learn Internet Marketing

Category: My Life | 4 Comments

I’ve been involved with Internet Marketing for a long time, and I’ve been in lots of Membership Programs, and plenty of forums…

I’ve even been blogging about it, and posting tutorials on the subject for nearly 3 years now, and I’ve spent 100′s of hours helping out others, via aim and email, if not more. People have tried to pay me to coach them 1 on 1, but I never took a dime, and I never took “the job,” as I never had the time…

Recently, a partner and I, who has also been involved in Internet Marketing for a very long time, started talking about how other programs lacked certain aspects in training, which caused a ton of confusion, and some never seem to adapt, nor do they want to.

Obviously, this is the time when someone should step up… and we did.

We have spent months and months, and tons of money getting this Program up and running, and it’s finally here.

www.Affiliit.com

What is Affiliit.com?

Our program was designed, based on Flow Training, to help newbies and intermediate Affiliate Marketers discover how to properly build their Internet Marketing Business, from the ground up…

If you have no idea about Affiliate Marketing, you’ll learn through this program as a complete “newbie.” The system takes you step-by-step, and allows you to build an Online Business through various channels, using up-to-date methods of Internet Marketing.

This isn’t another program that focuses on one aspect of Affiliate Marketing, nor is it a “all-in-one” approach to learning. Each person is different, and we understand that.

The program uses an Introduction Course on Internet Marketing, and then takes you through the next steps, which is choosing Free or Paid Traffic Generation. Once you’ve figured out which way you’d like to move forward, you’re given monthly Modules that take you through the entire process of building your Business from the ground up, as an Affiliate Marketer.

There’s plenty of Videos, Tutorials and, of course, our Forums – where we work with you in a group setting, but you’re more than welcome to Private Message us any questions you may have regarding Internet Marketing.

If you’re tired of banging your head against the wall, trying to figure out how to get started, give us a shot!

If you want to get a $10.00 coupon off of the first month, you can use this one!

My Twitter Account

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

My old Twitter account was one of thousands that were hacked into and used for Spam. So, if you followed me and was wondering why it was suspended, that’s why.

Twitter’s a pain in the ass to get in contact with, too. I tried, but failed to get in touch with them on many, many occasions.

Oh well, I’ve got a new Twitter account: http://twitter.com/clint_lenard

EDIT: I guess I’ve been too busy lately… I corrected the link, although my old account has been reinstated. http://twitter.com/clintlenard

Bing: New Search Engine On The Block

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

I’m always paying attention to upcoming technology, and I usually know what’s coming up way before it hits… I missed this one somehow! (edit: I didn’t miss it… I just noticed that it’s Kumo, which was being discussed for a while. They changed the name, obviously!)

Bing.com will go live on June 3rd, and it’s already looking to be a much improved LiveSearch, if you ask me. I think it’s a huge step for Microsoft – with all of it’s up-to-date functionality, along with plenty of extras.

By the looks of it, Bing has some really good results compared to the results I used to get on Live as well.

I’m actually pretty impressed with this one… a Microsoft product too… strange.

Crash And Burn

Category: My Life | 1 Comment

Long story short: I had this site setup on a Reseller hosting package I purchased a long, long time ago through a company called HighFluxHosting, which is now called Tremato, and I was stupid enough to let myself get lazy…

I kept the site on their server, although I had issues with them many, many times. I just never took this blog that serious, I guess. I use it to blog and post my thoughts, but nothing more… if it went down, it would be back up, right? Eh, laziness. Stupid me.

That company is definitely shady as hell, and they deleted my Domain because I “unsuspended” my account, since it shouldn’t have been suspended in the first place.

If you’re using that company, move far, far away. Don’t be lazy… there’s tons of others out there that actually DO want your business. “Tremato” aka “HighFluxHosting” are a bunch of shady assholes. Stay away.

Not only did they ignore my emails, they also made sure they didn’t let me grab any new backups, which I couldn’t seem to find on my PC. Yeah, it’s my responsibility to back up my site, but I figured they’d have SOME class, rather than be the assholes they are.

Oh well, I get even. :)

Twitter: Moving On Up In Search

Category: My Life | 1 Comment

I’ve talked about Twitter Search quite a bit, and even using Twitter Search for Trends. But, it seems that Twitter is doing just what I had hoped… they’re going into competition with the big boys, which makes things that much more interesting.

Twitter purchased Summize a while back and now it seems that the purchase could land them into MAJOR Search Territotry quicker than they could have ever imagined.

According to WebProNews, Twitter will now start following links inside of tweets.

This is awesome. This gives Twitter that much more interest in Social Media (as if it needed any more), as well as a serious look at it’s new Search Engine. Users can now stop focusing on the Nofollow links (Google) and focus on utilizing Twitter as a true Social Platform, with a powerful Search Engine behind it.

Given the fact that Twitter will now be adding in a Reputation Ranking System, this will add more credibility to their Search Engine, in my opinion.

Currently, most users simply use it to see “who’s talking about what.” But there’s so much more to it than that. Twitter has a lot of power behind it when it comes to User Generated Content, which mostly focuses on current trends. This territory that Google can’t get into right now, which is why purchasing Twitter could have been a MAJOR pickup for Google, but the deal never went through.

For Affiliate Marketers, you can easily do a search on Twitter Search and find out just about anything you need to by following outbound links (users will use bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.) that are focused on the subject you’re interested in.

There’s also a lot of useful Search Operators within Twitter Search. Say, for instance, you wanted to see if Nicky Cakes was talking about PPC.

You’d simply type in: PPC from:nickycakes

What if you wanted to see if someone else was talking to “SOB” about Affiliate Marketing?

You’d type in: Affiliate Marketing to:thinklikeansob

If you want to find anyone who has mentioned Jeremy Palmer, you’d put in:

@jeremypalmer

Simple enough!

Now, if you wanted to find links that directly correlated to a Search for…say, PPC, you’d type in:

ppc filter:links

This will bring up ONLY tweets with the term PPC, with links in the tweet.

Want to find Tweets about a subject that are questions?

Type in:  PPC ?

or: Affiliate Marketing ?

Want to find someone Tweeting about Foreclosures within 100 miles of Tuscon, Arizona?

Simple! Type in:

“foreclosure” near:”tuscon” within:100mi

How about finding Trends from a specific date, to now?

Easy stuff… type in:

ad:tech since:2009-04-01

OR

swineflu since:2009-01-01

These are just a few of the amazing Search Operators that can help out anyone who wants to do some Research on Twitter Search.

If you have any questions, please ask!

Always Be Learning

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

I remember my first sales job like it was yesterday, but it was 10 years ago now (geez!). One of the first things they taught us was “Always be selling.” It’s the reason I hated Sales. I wasn’t a “sales person” like some of those people… but, I did build a rapport with most of the people I talked to, which made me somewhat successful.

I knew how to sale, don’t get me wrong. I was always learning about sales. I purchased courses, read books and went to training classes over the first 2 years of my Sales career. Working with the Van Tuyle group, they send you to some serious training classes. I hated sitting there all day knowing I had a long drive back, but I loved learning all of the cool stuff we learned about Psychology.

The odd thing is – I’m a high school dropout. I hated school. I was kicked out of several schools, and I rarely attended class when I was “in school.” I was a “trouble maker,” and having boring teachers did not help.

When I wasn’t in School, I was still learning. If something struck me as interesting, I would learn everything I could about it. I would become obsessed with the subject and try learning everything I could as quick as I could.

I’m still the same way these days. I never stop learning. It’s a great bad habit. ;-)

I get annoyed with people who don’t want to learn about subjects like Internet Marketing, yet they want to make money. They give up and call it a scam… or tell others “you can’t make money that way!” — it just bugs me to see people so lazy when it comes to opening their minds and gaining knowledge.

If you’re serious about making money online with Affiliate Marketing, I highly suggest spending all your free time (away from setting up campaigns, etc) learning something new, or expanding upon your current knowledge of that subject.

Don’t know SEO? Go learn it. SEOMoz has some great resources to learn SEO! Don’t know how to build a Website? Want to learn how to use Photoshop? Want to learn the basics of PHP, or CSS? Check out Lynda.com … it costs like $25 a month and it’s amazing.

The bottom line is: don’t stop learning if you’re serious about making this a Business. The more you learn, the more you’ll earn.
