I don’t want to turn this into drama, but I want to make sure people know why I’m no longer there. Will has a tendency to bash people for all the wrong reasons…so, call this preemptive.
About a year ago, I came up with the idea to create my own Internet Marketing Training site…a site that would Rival Wealthy Affiliate, a site that I respected a lot, and still do. They’re very professional, but there’s a few things that they lacked, and I didn’t see anything changing, so I decided to create something of my own.
I purchased a domain called Affiliit.com back in November. A domain I knew I could use for that specific project. Perfect for what I needed…
I started chatting with Chris (newageads) from PPC Coach, and I explained my vision for the project. Not once did it have ANYTHING to do with PPC-Coach…
As a matter of fact, we never wanted it to rival that site, as it was a small niche site, with little training, and nothing good for newbies (being honest). Not to mention, once you get past month 1, there’s nothing left…again, being honest. Bashing? No…do a search, it’s the same valid complaint everyone has.
I used to respect Will. I thought he was a good guy, until I noticed all of his public bashing on people that gave their honest feedback about his site. I saw it on Wickedfire, WarriorForum, and even his own site, just to name a few.
Look, I can understand getting upset about people giving their honest opinion, but as a Business owner, you need to suck it up and walk away with that criticism in mind – so that you can fix those issues. It’s what Business is all about…Customer Satisfaction, NOT self-satisfaction or ego stroking.
Apparently (from the comments he makes anytime someone creates a new product), if you build any type of website, you stole from Will.
He’s the same guy who accused Ruck of stealing his Poll program to create poll factory (don’t ask, I don’t get it either!), Wes of stealing his tracking script and creating prosper202, and several other people…I don’t even want to go any further, but I want people to know the truth of how this guy attacks people and accuses them of stealing from him. It’s complete nonsense.
On top of that, this guy purchased PPCFormula and then turns around and creates PPC-Coach…then he buys PPVFormula, and turns around and starts ppvcoach.com, both of which caused Gauher Chaudry to become very upset, as you could imagine.
Do a search on ppc-coach.com for Gauher Chaudry or PPVformula.com, or ppcformula.com on his site, and you’ll see they’re filtered out like bad words…
I left PPC Coach a long time ago because I saw how Will was ignoring his customers. They asked for more training, and new updates…what does he give them? Affiliate Links to other products, Webinars on other people’s products, and, on top of that, rather than updating his methods, he goes back in time and hits them with minisites…and blackhat methods using other people’s products. I never understood these moves, and it’s why I stopped showing up.
I tried my best to help out the site, and I never once poached any members from his site, as he so boldly claims, while he does this at DigitalPoint, WickedFire and WarriorForum, along with other sites on a daily basis. Let’s be honest with ourselves, shall we, Will?
I never poached ANY members from his site… I gave a few members I know from there a free account, because they hit me up on AIM on many occasions. This is not poaching, this is called Networking. Meeting new people. Maybe if there was more training available, your UNPAID MODERATORS wouldn’t have to get bothered on AIM all the time, right?
He claims we stole his tools? Last time I checked, people have been using Campaign Builders, scrapers, etc. for a long, long time now, and we don’t try to sell our Tools for our membership, they’re simply there to help out our members. I don’t understand why he thinks just because he HAS these things, that other people don’t realize he took those ideas from them, too?
Will banned me today, all because he fears competition…
This is bad Business, like usual from this guy. I’ve had people warn me about the guy for a long time, but I ignored it.
The lies keep coming, and the complete disrespect of his members will always continue.
Let’s keep it real, Will…
Lies, Broken promises, being a cheapskate, and over-promising and under-delivering is not what makes a good site. These are why your customers are leaving, and this is why your mods are not showing up anymore.
What happened to keeping your moderators (the people who RUN YOUR SITE FOR YOU) paid? Nobody ever got paid, but it was stated that they would be… I couldn’t care less about the few bucks you might have ponied up, but it was the fact that you lied about it.
What ever happened to all of your tools that you promised people, and never delivered? The Keyword Spy Tool, Minisite generator, etc, etc… the list continues to grow.
I’ll leave it at that… these are the reasons I left ppc coach. These are the reasons I’d warn everybody not to stay on past month 1, and never believe a word the guy says.
I wanted to make sure I get my say, rather than to let this guy ban me from his forums and publicly lie and bash my partner and I.
It’s coming, as always.
Remember kids: You shouldn’t make false accusations about someone who knew your Business better than you. The moderators are the ones who run that site. It’s a shame he’d lie about things, all because he fears Affiliit.com …
Take your ball and go home now. We’re done here.

Wow, that’s exactly what I thought about ppc-coach too.
I really don’t like the way he bashed about his competitors and trash talking about other gurus, that’s really bad business practice.
I saw you’re doing that with affiliit.com too. I know you guys are trying to be honest. Why not just post up real testimonials from the students instead of pointing out the flaws of other membership sites, focus on the strengths of your site, if you want to do it, just don’t mention ppc-coach or wealthy affiliate specifically, that’s not very professional imho.
In this IM business, it’s very easy to talk the talk but not walk the walk. Every single membership site suffers from this problem. When the community is small everyone is willing to share, but as it grows, senior members will leave, owners get lazy and the whole community will turn into the next digitalpoint full of clueless inactive newbies asking the same stupid questions over and over again. So i really hope you can keep your promise and wish you all the best with your site.
Coming back to ppc-coach, I’m a bit schocked when he revealed his month1c minisite technique and made it sound so revolutionary, it’s actually ass backward and counter productive unless you’re into SEO. I have one page landing page running for years and never got slapped and still getting great quality scores, you just need to know what google is looking for. Do you really need to spend time building mini wordpress sites linking to one another, no, that’s just a waste of time. If you want to do that, you’re better off doing SEO, not ppc.
The rest of the months are super disappointing, making just one post about certain method is not coaching at all.
Show people things that work, show them proof, stats, data, screenshots. That’s WHAT THE STUDENTS want to see, not just some gay post telling people to run insurance leads and bid on long tail keywords!!!
Folks have been asking for real case studies since day 1 and he never deliver, there’s only 1 case study done so far and it failed miserably..and what’s with all the webinars promoting useless tools that people don’t need?
I can’t stop wondering why he keeps accusing 202 stealing his tracker. prosper202 is way better than his script when they first launched and they have a TEAM of people behind it not a one man show type of script where you have to wait WEEKS to get something fixed. TIME IS MONEY!
People don’t want to use his tracker because the script calls HOME, if someone leave the membership, he/she can no longer use the script. I understand that he wants to keep his customers as long as he can but seriously, people will leave someday and there’s no reason for them to use a script that calls back to ppc-coach. You can’t be upset about this and trash talk about prosper202 because it is a fact that it’s a better choice. period.
I can go on and on but then what’s the point? I guess I’ll just stop here. Sigh…

@anonymous bastard – You’re right, the why choose us page may cause a little friction, but it was based on the honest to god truth, from an insider (myself). I never bashed the program and even gave it credit for being pretty good, when, in fact, I gave it more credit than it should have gotten…
Comparing your company with others has been done for centuries, and as long as you post the facts, I, personally, see nothing wrong with that.
But, with that being said…
We will be updating the entire website soon, so your input is much appreciated, and I’ll definitely do something about that.
As for testimonials, we’re new, so we didn’t want to force any fake testimonials at the time, but we will be with our update. Now we have plenty.
As for growing communities, I agree, that’s where people fail miserably. With our program, we do make a bold promise, and I don’t break promises. If things grow too much, we WILL hire Paid Moderators/Coaches to help out around the site, but it won’t be one of those “who wants to be a moderator?” type ideas. Applications will be taken, and each person has to know what they’re doing, and know how to teach it.
@Manuel – grasman? If so, good to see you!

Wow. This is really sad.
I have read the “Why Choose Us” on AffiliIT.com and I thought it was useful information and not bashing any other site. Most of this info is repeated over and over across the internet. But that’s just my opinion.
People are searching for a quality training site and there are more options to choose from now. I think competition is a good thing. It keeps you on your toes.
Good luck to you!

Hey Clint,
Thanks for posting this. It’s Good to have my own view of the situation confirmed by an (ex)mod. It really is a shame, I felt pretty raw about the experience I had over there – tried to contribute to the community and work hard to make things happen, and all it got me was attitude and a snippy PM on wickedfire when I mentioned the problems I was having. Real disappointed by the whole thing, and the time and money I wasted floundering around using outdated techniques that other sites advised I not use put me off of PPC for a good while. Been thinking about hopping back into it in upcoming months, now wondering if affiliit can give me useful data where certain…other sites failed to do so…

Hey bud! Good to see you around!
Yeah, it’s a shame, and it’s only getting worse…
I could blow this blog post with some really sad stuff, but I’m done with exposing the guy. I just feel sorry for his customers…I REALLY do.
As for the snippy PM’s when you tell the truth – YES! That’s another reason I was getting tired of that place. I see him talking back in a really unprofessional manner (snippy/attitude/arrogant) to people on his own site, WickedFire, WarriorForum and Digital Point, all because they tell the truth, and have honest feedback.
He always claims that those people aren’t even customers, or else they never PM’ed him…yet, most of them were, and did!
Regardless, he’s losing customers because he can’t focus on THAT site…rather, he keeps claiming affiliit.com is a carbon copy of his site (not even close!!!), and then goes off and tries to make a competitor site lol
I don’t get it, and neither will he soon…

Hey Clint,
I also finnished on ppc-coach this week after 12 months of membership. It’s sad that he can not handle competition and banning his mods and members for complaining (he banned oscarkool, LOL).

Hey Peter!
I agree, as I heard about Oscarkool getting banned, and others being threatened for all the wrong reasons.
I now refer to Will as Fidel, as he’s becoming a Dictator, not a Business man. He has absolutely NO Business sense at all, and it’s horrible the way he’s treated paying customers, moderators, etc.
Karma will be visiting him soon.

Sorry to hear what went down. All I know is that you and Chris helped me out a lot when I was on ppc coach, and Will has lost a couple good members of his team. Good luck with your site!

Hey Pam,
Thanks for the reply!
Yeah, it’s a sad situation for his members… but his decline is already happening, and I find it to be pretty amusing now, with all of his trash talk.

Wow, that’s hilarious he would delete my posts. I had over 500 of them and a lot of them were the super noob questions that most people are wondering….
I’m not the quiet type that sits back and does everything on my own. Being a pro in anything requires mentorship. The only way to achieve this to either get a mentor, or ask a shit load of questions and keep asking and asking, respectfully of course.
Will would bash anyone that asked for 1 on 1 help on the forum. What a douche bag. That guy reminds me of the 12 year old kids in world of warcraft.

Clint,
Thank you for this post, I have been dabbling in generating income online for the past 7 years or so and I am still trying to get there, although, I must admit I have never really sat down and worked really hard on one certain method. I am a very stubborn person and I like figuring things out on my own, but after so many failed attempts I began researching membership sites to expedite my learning process(my unemployment runts out in 3 months). I stumbled across PPC-Coach and began doing some digging(as I have fallen victim to FAR too many schemes in my attempt at accomplishing this goal of financial independence). Most of the reviews I found of the site were pretty good, of course, then, I became suspicious that he was paying people to review his site or that the reviewers were simply trying to promote the product in hopes of a registration under their affiliate ID. I came to the end of a 7 page post on DigitalPoint where the owner of PPC-Coach made an apologetic post to ex-moderators of his website for trash talking. I then stumbled upon this post by searching for “PPC Coach bash competition”
Needless to say, I am now looking into your site, as you are clearly a man with a firm grasp of the way business should be conducted. I can only hope that many more inspiring internet marketers stumble upon this post before buying themselves into certain failure.
-Jared
