I really like this book and I think anybody who’s REALLY trying to make some extra cash online and has a little experience with Google, Forums, etc. should be trying out the Techniques explained in this book.
I’ve actually learned a few awesome new tricks that I’ll be trying out over the next few weeks.
I’m glad I got the opportunity to review the book! And this is a REAL Review of Project Quick Cash!
UPDATE: THIS OFFER IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AS OF 2/06/08
If you’re looking for a great way to create live screen shots of your computer - there’s a “little program” called Camtasia which is the best program for recording your computer screen.
But what’s really cool about this software is that it’s FREE right now!
Yes, there’s a “catch”… but it’s not really a catch, to be honest. They’d like for you to upgrade to the newest version but you do not have to… you still get to keep that version either way.
This is NOT a trial. This is the actual program that you can download for free from their site with no strings attached. If you like it - simply purchase an upgrade to the newest version.
Pretty cool, right? I think so…
Step 1
Download the software from here -
(save the file to your desktop).
If you’re familiar with “DayJobKiller“ - this is the second version with some cool additional tools that, supposedly, took $40,000 and 6 months to create.
The creator of the project is Chris McNeeny, who also created Affiliate Project X andAdWords Miracle. Day Job Killer and Affiliate Project X were pretty good books so I can only imagine that Google Assassin / DJK Assassin will be great products.
I never understood why people don’t try to monetize their domains they have yet to launch. I see people trying to use Sedo and companies like that but… why split?
I tend to build out landing pages with a little bit of content and AdSense or YPN and I get to keep ALL of the money I earned from my domain. I really don’t like sharing with companies like SEDO, as they’re not a very ethical company in my opinion anyway. Not as bad as 1and1.com but still not very customer friendly and tend to take their customers for rides!
But the problem for me is getting the time to create those landing pages and adding the code, etc. So I started looking around and found a site called WhyPark.com and it looks pretty interesting. I guess I’ll give it a shot and see how it goes! I did a little research and found plenty of positive reviews such as:
only some days with them and i already made the money it cost me,
i almost doubled my revenue in one of my domains.
Another was in response to someone who claimed it was not worth it:
Not in my case, It paid for itself in 2 days for me.
Both of these claims were made by members of a popular forum who both had a LOT of posts and no connections with the company.
I’ve found a ton of great reviews and very few bad reviews. Actually, oddly enough, the bad reviews were a little questionable…
If you’re interested in finding out more about the company - read what they have to say at WhyPark.com
I love MSN AdCenter but I don’t think I’ll be spending much time with this system. I can’t believe how slow this site is! If this was some brand new site started by Joe Blow - guess what? People would have abandoned this site a long time ago due to the speed issues.
At first I thought it was just me, until I started asking around.
Why is it that Microsoft, one of the biggest companies on earth, can’t seem to sort out the speed issues with one of it’s biggest investments?
They have to keep up with Google AdWords somehow, but slow speeds is surely NOT the answer!
I get mad as soon as I know I have to go and edit any ad groups on this system because I know how frustrating it’s going to be. Running several ppc campaigns can be frustrating enough… but going from a speedy AdWords system to a slooowwww AdCenter system is NOT something I look forward to dealing with!
These are the lowest prices I’ve ever seen this program on sale for. About $50 cheaper than I got mine on sale for last year. Grab your copy before it’s too late!
I discovered my PageRank dropped from 5 to 2, overnight, on Tuesday evening. I was actually a bit worried and had not heard anything regarding the PageRank obfuscation until that night when I found out about this sites PR drop.
I’m not sure how paying for links would affect so many sites… I know I haven’t paid for one link to this site as it was simply a personal blog that I updated approximately 4 to 5 times a week, tops.
But, it’s not a big deal, so it seems, according to Aaron Wall. I’ll take his word for it as he’s definitely a lot more technically skilled in the SEO arena =)
Starting Next Week I’m going to be writing a series of “How to” Articles based on Affiliate Marketing, ppc and various other areas of Internet Marketing.
I figured that it would bring me back to the basics, once again, and help someone make some extra cash before the Holidays.
I’m not one of those “gurus” who are constantly looking for a way to screw over the little guy for a few extra bucks and share outdated CRAP.
This is free information based on years of Experience in several areas and a few things that might be new to me - but I’ve spent plenty of dollars and thousands of hours learning this stuff!
For those who are interested - you can learn a TON of information through the Wealthy Affiliate program. I rarely push any product more than once, unless I believe in it. Wealthy Affiliate is just AWESOME. It’s NOT a Get Rich Quick Scheme - so if that’s what you’re looking for - go sell your home and throw all of that money into some Multi-level Marketing scam…
WA is, by far, the most helpful program and forum I’ve found on the net, period. I’ve learned more in the past month than I’ve learned in the past 3-4 years. No more guessing, buying junk ebooks or programs or systems. This stuff is just plain and simple to learn and does not give you anything less than AWESOME tools for research, learning, etc.
Be on the lookout for my first “Tutorial” I’ve done in over a year! Never had the opportunity to do it for Affiliate Marketing so this should be pretty interesting. =)
This section was discussing how some people might sell an Apple using the “An Apple a day keeps the Doctor away” analogy… but how a good Marketer would build more value and be more creative.
Here’s what he says:
If you are selling some other type of product, the same principle applies. For example, if we were writing a sales letter for an ordinary apple, instead of just saying that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”, we might list every vitamin and mineral provided by the apple, then list every health benefit delivered by each of those vitamins and minerals. We might then show the huge bulk of other foods you’d have to consume to get those same nutrients and benefits — all to turn that little apple into a huge “bulk” of benefits and value. - Dan S. Kennedy from The Ultimate Sales Letter
What Mr. Kennedy is explaining to us is that rather than selling a product based on what it might be worth to the average person - turn that product into a bulky, multi-valued, product and sell on more features and benefits than the next guy.
I thought this was an awesome way to explain features and benefits. Not that the lesson was truly based on this aspect of Marketing - but it puts it in a more easily digestible example, no pun intended (apple).
He actually explained a way he sold a set of 3 books based on how heavy they were and how much it was going to cost “just to ship!”.
This is why Dan Kennedy is one of my favorite Marketers on the planet. Not that I have any favorites on Mars… maybe Jupiter, though.
