I found this script a few weeks ago and was blown away by the functionality of it all. It’s got more features than phpfox has even with all of the available plugins from “Modders”! So far it’s so much better than phpfox on every level that it’s actually sad for us phpfox users!!! I’ve sold all of my Licenses for phpfox just this week, lucky me!

VOIP Phone, Voice Recorder, Video Chat, etc. Everybody who sees this script is absolutely BLOWN AWAY! I hear Support is great, too! They’re currently building new forums as well. Hopefully they’ll be ready in a few days. 
The AJAX functions alone make it worth the money. I mean, seriously, how many times have you heard people bitching about all of the problems with Resources from the phpIM Instant Messenger than phpFoX uses? What does support tell you? “1.x will fix it” and then they move on… waste more time, create more problems and then: they SKIP 1.6 — the version EVERYBODY has been waiting for!! (apparently that was just a rumor started by the forum administrator, I guess they WILL go to 1.6, which is good news for phpFoX owners!)
Some people might question why I posted this AFTER I left phpFoX… but my reply is simple: I POSTED THIS IN THE STAFF FORUM 2 WEEKS BEFORE I STEPPED DOWN AND SOLD MY LICENSES.
I was tired of hearing clients complain about Support turning them away, the problems with the Forums, no appreciation from the Owner of the company, whom I busted my ass for… the guy doesn’t even show up on the forums anymore. I take that as a sign of disrespect, to be honest. A simple check up on the forum that his company has put out for its script is not that hard. It would probably have solved MANY, MANY problems over the past few months.
This Company that created AbleSpace seems to WANT TO be available to the customer. They WANT TO sell more licenses. I remember when phpFoX was like that, too. Hopefully this company continues to do what it’s done so far.
AbleSpace HAS SINCE GONE DOWN THE HILL. DZOIC and PHPFOX are my top 2 picks these days. phpFoX has come back to earth and the company has been more responsive on many levels.
DZOIC handshakes is a great product with a ton of features, much like phpFoX. These two should be your top 2 researched scripts!

Just an update. I have updated the above post with my top 2 recommendations for social networking scripts.
I’m still pretty active with Social Networking sites and have experienced a ton of feedback on AbleSpace and have noticed that they seem to be very unprofessional as of late…
Also, please notice that this post was from June, 2007. Things were much different then.
phpfox and DZOIC handshakes are the best social networking scripts available.

Hi there. This is the kind of review I am looking for. But honestly, I am still eyeing for the best though since there are lots of social networking scripts available nowadays whether they are free or not.
