Here’s the deal, a friend of my wife’s has a daughter that is dying. Her friend Julie, not only has to deal with losing her daughter at any given time, but she’s going through a nasty divorce, trying to work two jobs to make ends meet, etc. Basically, she has a lot of life challenges that you an I would never want to have to deal with.

She’s behind on almost all of her bills and needs help.

I’ve got a blog setup and ready to go, just need to finish the initial post, get some affiliate offers setup on the sidebar, create a page for advertisers to contact her (me, I’ll be administering it), and get things in place so that traffic can melt the server (hopefully).

What do I need from you? Diggs, blog posts, anything that you can think of to help get the word out when this launches. I’m not asking anybody here to donate money. If you want to, you can do that on the site after it launches, there will be a donation page set up for that. Also, the affiliate account is in HER name, on Copeac’s system. So, for any surfers that complete email / zip submits or offers, the money will go straight to Julie.

What am I getting out of this? Nothing. I have one link to my blog from in her blogroll, and thats it. Basically, I get that good feeling for helping someone.

I was just checking over my Analytics and noticed my Carlos Mencia post, alone, is producing a lot of traffic which makes me believe that people are finally seeing the light over the last few days. Referrals from TomGreen.com (no, I’m not a member) and others are pouring in and the topic is sparking some interesting views.

I have a feeling that Carlos Mencia is going to be the Vanilla Ice of the Comedy World.

He changed his name to become someone else … he’s letting the big companies get to his head where he believes he IS capable of taking others material and everything should be fine.

I give it a 5 years before we see Ned Holness aka Carlos Mencia on some reality show with a bunch of other b-list stars who were one-hit wonders.

www.Redban.com/blogy has some great info … looks like he was the actual cameraman during this “ordeal”.

I had a good weekend this week … but it ended a little messed up.

Funny stuff happened with a friend (supposedly my best friend) I haven’t seen in over 3 years. He happened to be going 3 hours away from me (where I am, currently) and asked me to meet him out there. I was cool with it and was ready to try to go out there until I thought a little harder.

The guy had been going out there to meet a chick he met on MySpace, which strikes me as being odd. Meeting people online is cool but going 1,500 miles away to visit someone you JUST MET ONLINE? That’s just not right…

Oh well, I won’t be seeing him for a while as I won’t waste my time away from work to visit someone who can somehow find a way to meet someone he doesn’t know – but can’t seem to visit with friends. He’s definitely changed and that’s just life. I just found it to be a little disrespectful, knowing that if it were me – I’d make sure I went out of my way to visit friends, too…not ask them to come to me.

Other than that – I had an entire weekend working out, playing basketball with the nephews, playing with my baby nephew (rarely get to see him) and almost 48 hours away from work! wooo hooo!

I’ve heard Joe Rogan speak about Carlos Mencia aka Ned Holness (his real name, which is NOT mexican … because he’s not) stealing jokes before but now they’ve met FACE TO FACE ON CAMERA and Joe Rogan rips him a new one…

I was surprised Joe held himself back from knocking Mencia out, which I’m sure he could have easily.

Before anyone thinks this is like Pauly Shore type Publicity … think again.

The fact that Mencia came up when Dave Chapelle went MIA is obvious that Comedy Channel was hurting for something new … and if anyone could pull it off – who else but a BITER? He could steal Dave Chapelle’s ideas, jokes and even other jokes … shoot, even a NATIONALITY! No, he’s not mexican – he’s Half Honduras and Half German!

Joe Rogan has publicly called Mr. Mencia a thief for well over a year, along with George Lopez who Mencia apparently stole nearly 13 minutes worth of material from! (listen to the clip when he was on the Howard Stern Show)

Spread this around! stop the thief from getting away with it!

Way to get at him Joe!

UPDATE — YOUTUBE.COM HAS PULLED THE VIDEO WITH A MESSAGE STATING THAT THIS VIDEO IS THE PROPERTY OF CARLOS MENCIA.

I’ve been asked this question at least 10 times over the past few weeks and I honestly have NO clue, yet.

I can say that the forums are absolutely sad right now.

phpfox forums were what others found to be a major selling point … other than me, of course.

Seriously, though … I have no clue if they were bought out or not but Ray Benc (the owner) has been MIA for about 1 month, Drew has disappeared recently and Support is slowly but surely coming back to life, although they still need more help.

So who knows what happened? I do know that the forums are a major let down lately and I will be stepping down soon if the Company doesn’t get in contact with me.

Haha … I had an interesting argument over GoogleChat with the infamous Mike Filsaime and he told me “I don’t like you”.

I thought this was funny because the way he came off was like a little girl, to be honest. The conversation all began due to his negligence to emails I have sent requesting information about why he chose to let his affiliates be exposed to identity theft.

So, the guy doesn’t like me because I proved that he was a negligent moron.

Oh well, he’s rich and I’m just a little nobody. Maybe I’ll post up the conversation for all to see in a few days?
