Barry Bonds = the reason Baseball has become a joke. Busted again!

Category: Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

I grew up a huge Baseball fan…nothing came between me and baseball. Up until 2003 I was still a major fan, although McGwire and Sosa had left a lot of true fans with bad tastes in their mouths.

Barry Bonds has failed another test … this time for Amphetamines in which he then blamed on Mark Sweeney. Why not? people seem to believe him and George Bush more than facts anyways …

You can read more about Baseballs reason for failure right here.

I just find it AMAZING that Pete Rose can’t make it into the Hall Of Fame because he GAMBLED. But Barry Bonds is able to break REAL RECORDS while under the influence of Illegal Narcotics?

Amazing … truly Amazing. The guy, at the least, should be in jail right now. Darryl Strawberry was busted for coke … so was Dwight Gooden and many others who spent time in Prison. So, why should Barry Bonds be given so many extra chances?

I hope Baseball finally hits rock bottom. I mean guys getting paid $20 Million a year for hitting 30 home runs and batting .289 while on Steroids is a joke.

iPhone Is Confirmed! I can’t wait to get my hands on it

Category: Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

Apple has confirmed the iPhone and there’s even pictures of it … it looks even cooler than it was expected to look :-)

iPhone by Apple coming June 2007

iPhone is expected to be release in June 2007. I will have it the day it comes out :)

iPhone combines three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone

R.I.P. Chris Brown And Jose Uribe

Category: Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

I just found out that ex-Padre and Giant Chris Brown died in a house fire about a week and a half ago … not sure how I just now found this out.

In 1987 I attended a Fantasy Baseball camp to meet several of my favorite players, Eric Davis, Darryl Strawberry and Chris Brown. Mookie Wilson and several others showed up as well. It was one of the most memorable experiences in my life and it turned me into one of the biggest baseball fans ever- up until McGwire broke the homerun records. Now baseball is just a joke but those memories will forever last…thanks to guys like Chris Brown; may he rest in peace.

After reading about Chris Browns death, I also learned that Jose Uribe was killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic. Jose Uribe was always a funny name to me (not to be disrespectful, though) because at the time when he was popular – La Bamba was still a popular movie…and if you remember the lyrics – you could see how a kid would think it’s funny. He was a great and very underrated shortstop, though.

2 deaths in December for the Giants, very sad.

Google Tips … Why Is It Wrong?

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

Google has recently adopted “Tips” in their SERPS and alot of bloggers are claiming that they’re not living up to their Mantra that they will “Do no evil” (Don’t be evil). Now I, myself, love this mantra but I’m confused as to how they’re really affecting the average Informational Searcher?

Is it not at the same level as Marketers using PPC looking for the Transactional Searcher?

What’s the difference between Yahoo! and other Companies offering tips to use their services? I believe it’s a great idea for Google to promote their free services to users who search for their products.

A) Free is not evil unless it is used maliciously (e.g. Malware used in Free software)

B) It’s their service promoting their service(s) that they truly believe their users (searchers) would be interested in.

C) Most of this drama started from Blake Ross, the creator of Firefox, who has no right to go against Google since Mozilla also gives tips to download Firefox, Thunderbird, etc. in the same level, right? Yes…

D) Suggestions are simply that…SUGGESTIONS. If I suggest that you not take Blake Ross’ suggestions … would you do it?

Get over it. I like the fact that Google took it off because of the Drama but C’MON! It’s complete contradiction for the creator of Firefox to speak on “suggestions” being EVIL.

“SPREAD FIREFOX” was way more evil than “Google Tips” could have ever been. They had every intent on over-suggesting others to use Firefox, while Google is simply letting others know about their OTHER free services on THEIR SITE, not others.

Verify phpFoX Licenses

Category: Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

phpFoX has become a very well known script over the past 8 months. But unfortunately, with popularity comes SCAMS. Finding a good deal on phpFoX is easy in some forums. Scam artists are running wild to sell their pirated copies of phpFoX for a few bucks, only to take money out of the hands of inspiring Business owners.
If you are thinking about purchasing phpFoX from someone and feel a little unsure about the License being Valid or not – simply run the URL through here:

http://clients.phpfox.com/validation.php

If the phpfox license comes up Invalid – please notify www.PirateReports.com about the person who is trying to sell the product immediately.

In the end, purchasing phpFoX through the actual company will save you a lot of Stress, anxiety and possibly hundreds of dollars. You can always ask what their phpFoX username on the forums is, too, and do some investigating of your own – but that isn’t a surefire technique. :)

If the License does come up Valid, the next step is to verify with the actual owner that the seller is, in fact, the owner of the script. This means contacting them through their phpFoX site’s contact page, doing a whois check on the domain, etc.

Also, before spending a week doing all of this – make sure that phpFoX doesn’t have some kind of sale going on at that moment in time … you may be spending more than you thought you were. They actually had a sale just last week for like $225 !

Keep your eyes peeled and do some research before blowing money on a “pre-purchased” phpFoX script.

New Year Resolutions…or…Goals: 2007

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

I’m not about New Year Resolutions…but, for the heck of it, I’m going to list some Resolutions Goals here so I can look back here in a year.

  • I quit smoking in September (3rd, 2006) and I’m hoping I don’t touch another Cigarette ever again!
  • I’d like to finish reading the 10 new books I just purchased, along with the ones on my Book shelf. hehe…I’ve read over 300 Business and Marketing Books in my lifetime but lately I can’t seem to finish any all the way to the end. I have 2 new PHP Books I purchased along with a new AJAX book as well. I also got Conversation Marketing (GREAT BOOK!) the other day and I’m taking it in for the second time :-)
  • I’d like to be able to start 1-Mile jogs before Summer begins. Sounds odd to some but I’ve had Heart Palpitations and flutters, along with skipping, since I was 24…so I’m pretty nervous about taking too much action at once. Especially since I only quit smoking 4 months ago. :-|
  • To Quadruple my income. Yeah, real generic… but this is one of my main goals this year. And to do that I’m going to need too…
  • Launch 5 new sites per month. I have well over 100 domains sitting and collecting dust. Most of these domains are very valuable too! Now I just need to make use of them… and I need to create these sites quickly so I need to learn more about…
  • Dreamweaver. You love to hate it if you’re a hand-coder but I’ve been there-done that for too many years. This tool has saved me MONTHS worth of time in the past few years. And hopefully it will save me months worth just this year :-P
  • Travel more … yeah, it will be hard since I’ll probably spend more time working — but I already work nearly 12 hours a day on most days. So I’m HOPING I’ll be able to work less towards the end of the summer. Luckily my Treo and Laptop will be with me too… I never leave home without my Laptop :-)
  • Take on less work…yep, I’ve got to take on less work to get more time for myself.
  • Spend more time with my dog…goofy huh? Well, I just lost one of my best friends “Sammy” and I’ve been feeling guilty about it ever since. Max, my dog, has been bored lately and begging for my attention lol
  • Maybe I’ll step into a serious relationship…orrrrrrrrrrrrr not. Heh…

Who knows how this year will turn out. Hopefully everything goes well!

Boise State should be ranked #1!

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

Yeah, I know…they’re not in the BCS blah blah.

If you watched them vs. Oklahoma last night — you would have seen the BEST team in College Football, without a doubt. Maybe they were mediocre versus other teams, maybe not. But from the way they played last night — they were the BEST team I’ve watched in years, to be honest. Sure, Oklahoma could have won several times but guess what? Boise State did NOT let that stop them. They took advantage of those situations.

Even in Overtime they didn’t give up…most teams, even some of the best teams (ahem, Oklahoma) would have given up at this point.

I know a lot of Ohio State or Florida fans would disagree but…well…Ohio State is not as good as Oklahoma. Florida should have lost to South Carolina.

Next?

Boise State is UNDEFEATED. PERIOD. And they took out a team that REALLY lost ONLY ONE TIME this year (Oregon was a joke, even Oregon fans know they lost that game. Thanks to the Portland Referee!) and the other loss was versus Texas, who, at the time, was a very strong team.

The Boise State Coach and players should be congratulating themselves for months years to come. They were supposed to get blown out…but that was FAR from the truth.

This Oklahoma team was very strong. Again, I do believe they should have lost, if it weren’t for terrible play calling by Bob Stoops, but they WON fair and square. Coaching mistakes happen…there was no Referees getting in the way this time. The only person who got in the way was Oklahoma’s coach.

Congratulations to Boise State! The BEST TEAM IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

Darrent Williams Murdered

Category: My Life | Leave a Comment

If any of you watch NFL Football or are Oklahoma State fans, you probably know Darrent Williams. He was one of the best Corners in Football… and last night he was murdered in a Drive-by shooting while leaving a Night club after New Years.

Pretty sad…I just watched the Broncos get beat by the 49ers last night and was excited because the Chiefs get to go to the Playoffs now. I remember him leaving the game too…but he had two pretty good returns on the day. Sure is sad…he had a lot of talent and fans, among all of his family and friends.
