So I’ve been threatened with a Lawsuit lately and I could only “giggle” at the thought. I remember when I was involved with a Company who had been threatened by Traffic Power - the same company who threatened to sue Aaron Wall for “Slander”, among others.

Why would Traffic Power want to sue these people? Simple: Slander. Traffic Power believed that by “stating the truth” was not “right”. Well, after years of Legal Fees for both parties - the case was dropped immediately after Mr. Matt Cutts provided proof that Traffic Power, in fact, DID get banned along with their Clients.

So why would Traffic Power think they could win that case? Obviously they didn’t believe they were penalized - or didn’t want the public to know the truth? You decide…

I guess the fact of the matter is - I can say what I want as long as it’s the truth. If I decide to call someone a MORON because of their actions, so be it. It’s my opinion and I can state my opinion if I decide I want to state that opinion. There’s a ton of companies that I truly believe “suck” and I’ve stated that, in my opinion, several on my Blog “suck”.

But I decided to ask a very popular Attorney and Blogging expert their opinion on the facts… here’s what he had to say:

My good friend Mike Sigers forwarded this to me today. Truth is always a defense to libel. Now, him calling you a thief is is different and actionable because he is imputing criminal behavior to you. You can call someone a moron but calling someone a thief is a no-no.

Ouch! So, in essence, If anyone decided to sue - I COULD SUE? Interesting turn of events! I decided to consult a client of mine who is also a very popular Attorney in Los Angeles who told me “he’s exactly right”.

Ha! Of course I’m not looking to go to court for anything so petty… even while someone’s attempting to drag my name through the mud on their little, tiny, blog. What would be the point?

Now, of course, if I felt that it was getting out of hand - sure, I’d definitely handle my business and go on a warpath to ensure the mud slinging stopped. But as it is right now - I’m too tired of threats and have no time for petty, childish, games. I’ve already been keeping records of obvious “sudden spam” hitting my blog out of nowhere. I’m talking 100+ comments of pure spam and some nasty spam to be exact.

It’s great that people in other countries believe they understand the United States’ Constitution better than those who live in the U.S. and truly understand their personal rights. This guys little blogs questioning MY I.Q. while threatening with Lawsuits that they’d be ripped apart over is just pathetic and boring now. At first it was pretty funny but the fact that this guy really, truly, believes he’s in the right is kind of disturbing, if you ask me.
Oh well, time to watch football! I’ve got no more time for Morons

I also enjoy this guys little Blog posts - at the end stating: “Thanks to everyone who sent him an email stating “Please stop harassing Buddy Zone and Vastal I-Tech” I really appreciate it. Please continue.”

What’s that? Oh… I get it - you mean “thanks for all of those who I’m trying to get to harass someone I’m claiming to be harassing me”. Good call! That will look good in court HA!

because the truth is my lawyer has read all that I posted and all that he posted. Under Indian I.T. Act He is entitled to a term of 5 years and a fine of USD $5000 just for saying my software sucked and had no comparison with the competiton. Under Defamation case, which I have full rights to file, i might even be awarded USD $200,000 which if he does not have, his property will be seized and paid to me.

HAHA! Wow, dreamers really do live online! And where did I say the Software itself sucked? Oh yeah, where I said “it sucks because of bad business ethics”. Good luck bud
