So USC has stepped up to Number 2 as they defeated Notre Dame last night. What a horrible game that was…

What I still don’t understand is why Florida would be ranked number 4, still. Sorry Florida fans but your team lost to Auburn who got rocked by Arkansas who got upset by LSU who is ranked behind you with a better record…phewww.

Now Arkansas somehow got lost in this mess too since Louisville should not be ranked Higher. Believe me I’m one of those guys who root for underdogs…which is why I think the better Underdog (Arkansas) deserves to be ranked higher. Then again, Oklahoma only has ONE legit loss and they’re at #10 behind Boise State who isn’t even in the BCS!

In my opinion LSU is ranked a little out of place too…Arkansas lost fair and square. Fair being that their Coach made some really stupid play calls in critical situations (ahem Charlie Weis, anyone?) and lost the game for his team. Bad coaching rarely loses those types of games when you’re a big school, unless you’re Charlie Weis experimenting with some point for point match ups.

Well, there’s going to be some good games coming up but unfortunately without a Playoff - the best teams will never see the National Championship this year. That’s unfortunate for some of the schools who had some rough schedules (LSU, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Michigan and many others) this year.

Oh well, looks like the Heisman will be a terrible choice as well! Troy Smith seems to be the lobbyists choice for the year. Another mediocre QB who will never make it in the Show.
