Scammers: Lipozene

Files under My Life, scammers | Posted by Clint Lenard

Or should I say Spammers? I noticed my mailbox had a message saying: “Order Shipped” so – of course I was curious as to who might be shipping something to me.

When I opened the Email message it says:

Dear Valued Customer:

Thank you for your order of Lipo*ene. Your order has been processed and
shipped. You should receive your order in 3 to 5 weeks for regular shipping, 5
to 8 business days for rush shipping. Your order will appear on your credit
card statement with the entry:

DEN*LIPOZENE

Thank you for your business!

*****PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS MESSAGE. THIS EMAIL WAS SENT FROM AN
UNATTENDED MAILBOX.*****www.lipo****.com
Note that the asterisks (stars) are being used to be sure that this company does
not get any extra PR.
I'm not able to see the headers as it came to AOL (AIM.com) but it shows
it was sent by:
"lipozene@ecustomerresponse.com" ... yet when I attempted to pull the site
up on my browser - it doesn't come up.
Spammers = Scammers.
