UPDATE: Iowa State was also involved in bad calls tonight as a Bad call was made and not even reviewed. The Reciever made an obvious catch (touchdown) that was called incomplete! What good is the review system if you don’t use it correctly … or don’t use it at all? College Football is becoming a joke this year and it sucks to see Oklahoma lose one game over it and possibly a second two weeks later.

Okay now I hate hearing fans blaming Ref’s on their favorite teams losses but this is getting rediculous. The NCAA brought in Instant Reply to help Officiate games more properly and efficiently, correct? Okay so why is it that the Oklahoma Sooners have been screwed over on two games this year alone? They talked about the Oregon game on every Sports channel and every Sports Blog on and offline but this game needs to be discussed too. Now the Oregon game was a little worse because Oklahoma had the game in the bag, easily. But this game was the biggest rivalry in College Sports and to have two crappy calls, so clearly to the naked eye, not over turned was rediculous.

I really, REALLY, hope that the NCAA starts training these Referees how to use Videos. I mean you would think that being in a Digital age everyone would be “hip” to video – but obviously these guys are boycotting video and close their eyes under the hood of the camera because these calls are so damn clear it’s just pathetic that they can stand by their original calls that were pathetic to start with.

On another not… no, not another topic. USC vs. Washington should have fared differently as well in the last “2″ seconds but apparently the refs still love Pete Carroll and feel that he runs college football so well that he deserves to take away 3 seconds in a game. If you watched the last ACTIVE play – you would have seen that they clearly robbed Washington of ATLEAST 3 seconds. This means there would have been 5 total seconds to make one more play…

…What would it have given Washington? Who knows! But it would have made the game much better since Washington was on a roll.

Damn these blind refs (first time I ever got to say that but they truly deserve it now!)!!!

I just can’t believe the refs can screw up after having the Oregon vs. Oklahoma game stamped all over the place regarding bad officiating. The NCAA is beginning to become a joke. I was so glad that Instant Replay came back but damn if you can’t use it correctly GET RID OF IT! Why take away the Red Flags too?!?!
