Every once in a while I get into discussions regarding the War in Iraq with some moron who honestly believes the Soldiers in Iraq should stay there and they can’t believe Soldiers are going AWOL… “it’s not being a True American”…
So I believe Aesop said it best when he said: “It is easy to be brave from a safe distance”. All of these “hardcore americans” make me sick. Most of them are White trash (yeah, I said it!) punks who are too high or drunk (yeah, I said it.) to even know what the hell is going on in Iraq or the reality behind the scenes, for that matter.
Most are fake-rednecks (yeah, Fake as in they’re city bred white guys who pretend to be rednecks because it’s their way to be racist or simply full of hate… pick and/or choose) who couldn’t tell you what Condaleeza Rice’s job consists of, much less what Haliburton is.
So to all those “Tough Americans” that love war so much… here’s a big, fat, juicy quote for you:
“It is easy to be brave from a safe Disctance”.
Chew on that for a while tough guy.
Aesop also had other interesting quotes… such as:
“United we stand, divided we fall.”
“We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office.” (Ahem…)
